Had a lovely experience here :) We got the bone marrow, jamon croquette, grilled picanah steak, and the basque cake. GUYS PLEASE GET THE CROQUETTE AND CAKE!! I know it’s the least fancy of them but they’re so yummy. I think I could eat 10 of them, each! I had the sherry flight, I recommend getting it and asking to learn a bit more about how it’s made! Our server was amazing, I wish I remembered his name. He knew lots about the wines on the menu and even explained to me the making process! I mentioned it was my friends birthday and he put a candle on his dessert :) Thank you so much for having me, I hope to be back!

Dinner was delicious and very rich, we asked our waiter to choose the foods for us. I wish the patatas bravas didn't have all that sauce on it, would be been nice to be just a tad more simple. It was tapas style. Cocktails were nice too.

Had a great experience at bar isabel! Food was great. Service was superb! The vibes inside are nice and cozy. Our favourite dishes were the brussel sprout salad, the jamon croquetas, and the iberico jamon. We could have passed on the patatas bravas. They were just ok The only critique I have is they did not pace the dinner at all. We ordered many dishes and they brought it pretty much all at once. It was hard to fit everything on the table and we want to have a slower paced dinner.

It’s a great place to relax yourself after works and enjoy your time with your partners, friends and family. Although the price is on the high end, the food will always surprise you. I highly recommend Sobrasada & Foie Gras. With the creamy texture and balanced flavor, the snacks will spark your appetite and get you ready for the next dishes. Our waitress also recommend a zippy white wine which tastes like sparking wine with fruity taste, a perfect pairing with seafood.

We came to Bar Isabel to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and had such a warm, quintessentially Toronto dining experience. Every dish was beautifully seasoned and presented. The Jamon Croquetas stole the show, perfectly crisp on the outside and unbelievably creamy inside. The toast with sobrasada & shaved foie gras was one of the most memorable bites I’ve had; the shaved cloud of foie just melts the moment it touches your tongue, a perfect way to enjoy foie as opposed to a thick slab. The quarter octopus and picanha steak were both cooked beautifully. The complementary anniversary dark chocolate coconut ice bars were such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Thank you for making our evening so memorable. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great time at bar Isabel. The atmosphere was electric and the staff were friendly, accommodating, attentive, and knowledgeable. We showed up with no reservation during a rain storm. The restsraunt was packed with no seats available. The host didn't want to send us out in the rain to wait so he found a spot for us inside where we could grab some drinks while we waited for a table to clear up. It was so nice and thoughtful and started the night on a great note. When we were eventually seated It was our first time there so we decided to order the tasting. We mentioned a couple of items we really wanted to try and let the server handle the rest. Every item was packed with flavour and was super delicious. We couldn't believe how much food came out. We were bursting by the time we finished dessert and were already planning our next visit back. My favourite dishes were the toast with tomato and jamon, the shrimp in garlic butter, the blue cheese and pear toast, the crisp with foie gras and cheese, and the piccania (definitely spelt that wrong).

Great authentic tapas. I missed the food from Spain and this place gave me similar memory. Food was tasty, good choices, good services. Worth a try if you are looking for tapas in the city!

Walked in on a weekday with my friend, the staff gave us a bigger table upon request which was nice. We ordered a variety of dishes but our favourites were the anchovies on the potato cubes, they have a clean pickled taste that went well with the fried potatoes and creamy sauces. The octopus was really great as well, with a light cream sauce, the flesh was soft and not chewy with some crispiness from the charr of the skin. The steak was perfectly medium rare however the steak and caramelized onions were cold which was a bit unfortunate but the taste was still good. The atmosphere was nice on the weekdays, servers were attentive, maybe dwindled near close but I guess they were focused on closing. Anyways the food was great and I would recommend coming here, with a reservation would be best though as I imagine they get busier during weekends.
