3 week agoWe went here for lunch and sat on the patio. Only two tables had umbrellas for shade, so we were lucky to grab one—otherwise it would have been far too hot. The service was good, and the food didn’t disappoint. I had the fusion nachos and really enjoyed them, and the pineapple colada martini was delicious! A great spot for a summer lunch on the patio.

1 month agoMe and my boyfriend were looking for a late night date spot, and Millstone was exactly what we hoped for. The food was delicious, especially his hot honey burger. The portions were generous and reflected the prices well. The service was quick and exceeded any expectations we had. Our waitress was the nicest we’ve had out dining in a long time. Highly recommend!

1 month agoGood atmosphere, good buzz in the air. We were expecting a pub. Very nice inside, nicer than expected. The patio is nice because it's glassed in. I was expecting to be cold but wasn't because the wind was blocked. Food was very good. Could definitely greet and seat people faster; we waited a while and there was no one other than us waiting. Service was overall very good though. Our waiter was extremely nice and accommodating with my dairy allergy!

2 month agoOur first time, from out of town. Looked up places to go, chose here. It was unimpressive. The location is in a strip mall setting. The decor is average pub style. We had a reservation and had no problem getting out seats was fairly busy, we thought that was a good sign. Our waitress was over the top, loud, seemed to find herself funny, wasnt reading we didnt think it was funny she walked by our table and kept saying oh jeez I forgot your water again. Food sounded great. Again mediocre. The scallop appetizer was cooked well enough but I expect a sear, it was more chewy, just ok. The brushetta had a garlic creqm sauce on it, we found that description different but waitress recommended. It was covered in it. We couldn't taste the tomatoes over the garlic cream sauce. The mains were the turkey dinner special and fish tacos with side if Caesar salad. Again salad had so much dressing we did not eat. Fish tacos were just average. Turkey dinner was a special. The potatoes were a bit watery but ok, turkey moist, but perhaps a processed turkey breast something a bit different. Dressing was ok. Gravy average. Vegetables had an odd taste. We would not return.

4 month agoWe tried the fish tacos with mango salsa, paired with a side of Caesar salad. The mango salsa added a refreshing flavor that complemented the fish perfectly, and the Caesar salad was prepared just right. We also had the fish and chips, which I believe were made with a beer batter—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Both dishes were served in generous portions, making for a satisfying meal overall. The atmosphere leans more toward a sports bar, with plenty of historical sports memorabilia decorating the space. However, the music was pleasant, creating a decent balance for the vibe. Overall, the food was the highlight—delicious across the board!

4 month agoFirst time here at the Millstone Baker Drive! Millstone Public House – 250 Baker Drive I had a great burger here. The candied bacon was cooked perfectly and added a really nice sweet-and-savoury kick to every bite. The beef patty tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and the maple mayo tied everything together nicely. The bun was fresh and held up well. The fries were cooked perfectly—thin cut rather than a larger fry—but still very good. I also appreciated that the burger came with both fries and a salad, which you don’t see often. The salad was fresh and paired well with the garlic Caesar dressing, especially for the price. There’s lots of parking out front, which is a plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food did take a bit longer to come out, but it was busy, so that’s understandable. but overall, still a good experience. I’d definitely go back.
