Delicious food as always! I ordered for my family who was visiting and everyone loved it. The tabouleh is very fresh, and the hummus was too. Thank you :)

I’ve been to Tarek’s Cafe many times, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The shawarma, falafel, hummus, and garlic sauce are all outstanding. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. You can really tell they care about the quality of the food and the customer experience. If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese food in Halifax, Tarek’s Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Have been here a few times now and can confidently say that the food is consistently fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and laid back, and the staff/owners are the best people. Everything we’ve ordered has been top notch, good quality, and served with warmth and good cheer. We have particularly enjoyed the chicken skewers, the kibbeh, the beef kafta, and the tabbouleh. The prices are very fair for the quantity and quality of food they serve. And again, the staff and owners are genuinely the nicest folks and they take pride in their restaurant. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing first meal in Halifax! Came from NB and the mixed grill platter was amazing — so much delicious grilled meat, shrimp, falafel, and perfectly seasoned rice. Our server (Muad?) was super friendly, caring, and helped us pick exactly what we wanted. Best service and vibes. My only suggestion is the food might need little more Mediterranean / arabic taste

My wife and I had a delightful time here. The place was an older style place, but tasteful, clean, and bright. All of the staff seemed like they were eager to be kind and welcoming. Their enthusiasm for the food was contagious. They gave us a couple of things to sample. We like the food enough to give it five stars. At the same time, I would have to say that I have had chicken shawarma that I thought was a bit better, but their beef shawarma was the best I've ever had. The portions were generous. They brought us a lentil soup while we were waiting, and it was very good. We definitely want to go back as we love this kind of food.

Went there for the first time, didn't know what to get since there are alot on the menu. Chef recommended me half&half plate and it was very fresh and delicious. Most importantly it wasn't just the quality of food!

Such extremely delicious and healthy food. Good generous portions and served with super professional and friendly staff. The people working here are some of the best in the city. There’s no question about it. I’m completely confident that the food prep area is as clean as can be and all the ingredients are fresh, etc. The only complaint is the pounding radio music coming over the speakers. It’s enough that I won’t eat in there ever again. So hard to have a relaxed conversation. Everything else is wonderful.
