Such a hidden gem in Edmonton I visited the Square One Coffee recently, and the vibe was absolutely immaculate — cozy, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. I ordered a regular latte with their house-made cinnamon syrup, and wow… I love, love, loved it The cinnamon was warm and perfectly balanced, not overpowering at all — honestly one of the best lattes I’ve had in a long time. As a big chocolate lover, I also tried their chocolate orange muffin, even though I’m usually not a chocolate-orange person — I was blown away The way the orange mellows into the chocolate is so refreshing and well done. It was a total surprise in the best way and such a treat for the taste buds. Huge shout-out to the cashiers and staff as well — everyone was so kind, friendly, and made the experience even better. You can really feel the care that goes into this place. If you’re looking for amazing coffee, thoughtful flavors, and a genuinely lovely atmosphere, Square One Coffee is a must-visit

I recently visited Square One Cafe and had an amazing experience! The highlight was definitely their London Fog—it was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of creamy, comforting flavors. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. The cafe was quite busy when I went, so the service was a bit slow, but the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive despite the crowd. Another great touch was the selection of handmade goods available for purchase—such a unique and charming addition to the cafe! Overall, Square One Cafe is a must-visit in Edmonton. I’ll definitely be back for more of that incredible London Fog and to check out more of their handmade items. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Viking Hotel. The room was gorgeous, very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Mario and Maja were exceptional hosts friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made us feel at home and ensured that everything was perfect during our stay. I highly recommend Viking Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place with outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Mario and Maja, for such a great experience!

This café in Edmonton is truly a special place. The coffee is incredibly aromatic and rich — honestly one of the best cups I have ever had. You can immediately tell they care deeply about quality, from the beans they use to the way each drink is crafted. Every sip is smooth, balanced, and full of flavor. What makes this café even more unique is how it supports local entrepreneurs. Inside, you’ll find a thoughtful selection of handmade products and goods from local small businesses. It feels more like a community hub than just a coffee shop. The owners have clearly curated everything with care. The café has been established for over a decade, and that experience shows. It’s clean, well-organized, and always lively with customers. Despite being busy, it maintains a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee, a casual meeting, or simply to relax, it’s a wonderful place to spend time. A true Edmonton gem.

I visited Square 1 coffee on 31st eve and it was packed. So beautiful and warm. They had lots of accessories from small businesses which you can shop. I got a latte with macadamia milk and my sister got a cold brew with oat milk. So delicious. I also got a chocolate orange muffin- a bit dry but good flavor profile. And a white chocolate cookie.

This cafe is really well designed inside. It's an funky rustic space with a good amount of tables. Coffee was good, but I ended getting a muffin instead of the sandwich. It was a little weird because when we went up to the counter and I asked for a breakfast sandwich, the barista pointed behind me to a cooler and said I had to grab it from there and then she would heat it on the grill. It was a little awkward, especially becuase someone was behind us in line. She steered me away from a caramel macchiato into a caramel latte, where I think I would have enjoyed a macchiato more. She also forgot the black coffee for my aunt who ordered with me, so I got my done up drink about ten minutes before my aunt was served her beverage that needed no preperation. I am assuming/hoping that the service isn't like that all the time. The muffin was good though. The bathroom I used had an actual change table, so you can bring a young child without too much issue. There weren't any stairs and the tables were reasonably spaced to accomodate a stroller/wheelchair, for the most part. I would visit again.

My friend’s took me here when I was visiting Edmonton and I loved it! Their decor and ambience is just mind blowing! All the little, and not so little, ornaments put together. Real paintings to be sold, some great souvenirs for tourists and locals alike, although pretty expensive, but great exposure for local artists and home business owners. I had their iced chocolate and hot hibiscus tea, both pretty nice!

Popular and busy neighbourhood coffee shop. Rustic interior with various types of seating options. It was packed full on the day of our visit but we were doing take-away. Our coffees were pretty good. Service was ok but could have been more friendly.
